Polka Dots

Polka dot prints are fun, retro and add a dash of femininity to any outfit. Pair the vibrant pattern with classic items such as denim or solid colors to really accentuate those darling dots.  Whether adorned on a flirty chiffon frock, a charming tank or a sassy skirt, polka dots add the perfect punctuation to any outfit.

Polka dots can be casual or classy. Pair your favorite dotted blouse with a black pencil skirt and pumps for an ultra chic look. For a relaxed look, wear your polka dot blouse with shorts and flat sandals or your favorite skinny jeans and chunky brown platforms. If you have a fabulous dress, accentuate your waist with a skinny belt to channel your inner femme fatale. I simply love those dots!

Safari Style

As the weather warms up, so should your wardrobe. Safari style has always been one of my favorites and it is simply perfect for spring and summer. Hunter green, creamy white, khaki separates and brown leather accessories all create a fabulously stylish look.

Safari style can be chic even though it is intended to be worn for the rugged outdoors. Add pops of gold to these natural hues for a great way to jazz up your look. Pair your outfit with your favorite brown leather accessories or add panache by wearing an earthy pair of sky high espadrilles. This exotic outfit will surely add fun and style to your wardrobe.

Have a Fabulous Weekend

It's Friday, beautiful outside and I am looking forward to a gorgeous weekend full of relaxation. Catching up on sleep, coffee-filled afternoons, flaky croissants for breakfast, and perhaps some flower arranging to spruce up my living room (I'm loving orange tulips right now).

I saw this photo on anthropologie.com and simply adore it. I love the the retro shades, tousled updo, white blazer, wide leg trousers, subtle pale striped shirt, red lips and traveling tote. This outfit is simply perfect for the weekend, as it is casual, cool and ultra stylish. Have a lovely one!

A Burst of Orange

There is something about a burst of orange that I simply love. Whether adorned on a billowy tank, a flirty frock, a sassy skirt, a softer than ever lightweight wrap, a leather wallet or purse; orange will surely add a vivid splash of color to any ensemble.

Orange can be construed as a bold color, so it is best to subdue it with neutral items. White, black and a fabulous dark denim are always great choices to wear with orange. Additionally, it pairs wonderfully with metallic accessories (example: your favorite gold cuff and heels or a chunky silver watch).

Here are some accessories that add just enough orange to liven up your outfit

Spring forward with this fun, flirty, and fabulous color!

Toast With Bees

I simply love a fabulous glass of bubbly champagne. It is crisp, refreshing and oh so delicious. I typically will toast with a traditional stemware (Riedel is one of my favorites), however, these nontraditional French flutes are whimsical and simply perfect for Spring. Fill them with your favorite bubbly or even some sparkling juice (Trader Joe's has a great sparkling clementine or lemonade). These sturdy flutes are adorned with darling bees and are actually inspired by a travel set owned by Napoleon. I'm buzzing for these flutes. Cheers (or in French) Santé!

Teatime

I've recently been on a hunt for fabulous tea cups. I'm particularly drawn to the beautiful blue hues that these darling cups offer. There's nothing that makes me feel more sophisticated and civilized than sipping a glorious hot cup of tea that warms the soul. My absolute favorite teas are English Breakfast and Early Grey (Twinings has an excellent selection and so does Trader Joe's). Crumpet anyone?
