Fall Nail Colors

Once the season begins to shift and the weather becomes a bit cooler and fall wear is practically part of your daily ensemble; I love all the options for fall nail polish.  My motto is, as long as the nails are manicured (and not too long), bold nails are a fun and great way to add style.

Cat-Eye Comeback

Cat-eye makeup has certainly been creeping back in to the mix.  Classics such as Sophia Loren and Bridget Bardot mastered the art of cat-eyes, however, many current celebs have been rocking the flirty and alluring eye.  Use your favorite liquid liner and thinly line the top line of your lashes with a liquid pen.  Flick ends up ever so slightly right after the edge of your eye.  Have makeup remover and Q-tips on hand to perfect the look. Be sure to keep the rest of your makeup subdued to offset the drama in your eyes.

The color gray has never been cooler.  It's monochromatic feel is understated, yet classic and goes with practically everything.  Whether adorned on tweed, a flared trouser, a slimming dress, or even a fitted jacket; gray will leave you feeling anything but dull.

This upcoming season I'm certainly looking forward to all the beautiful jewel tones that can be worn.  Sapphire, emerald, citrine and garnet are just some of the dramatic colors that are flattering and absolutely beautiful.  These gorgeous hues command attention and are the perfect go-to color for a night out on the town, as well as a great alternative to black.
